Just had the absolute best experience! The whole check in, briefing and getting kitted out experience was quick but thorough. You really don't have a lot of time to think about being nervous before your instructor greets you and gets you checked and onto the plane. HUGE thanks to my instructor Jamie for making me feel super safe and in the know the whole time, as well as taking the best videos and photos. Really enjoyed the whole experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Skydive Wanaka to anyone!
It was our first time skydiving and this was the right place to take the jump! The experience was so smooth, our tandem masters JR and Jamie were awesome. Props to JR for capturing the BEST photos and videos with the go pro. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone :)

I had a wonderful trip with their professional guide, the employees are helpful.
Highly recommend purchasing camera shooting. With a beautiful view of Wanaka and snow mountain surrounding, the best choice that I did here.
First you will need to fill in some personal info, including your email address, if you book the camera shooting, you will get it via email as well, and if you had some medical issue also could let them know on the form, which will help your trip safely.
And then go to view the safety and technic guide video, teaching you some position you will need to do at some point.
Then gear up the suit and equipment they provided. At the most exciting part, is the following, getting on the plane and enjoy the view of Wanaka and following your guide to diving into the sky.
What a thrilling experience! I recommend the 12,000 foot one. 9,000 seems like too low and not enough free fall time and 15,000 you need oxygen.
If you get the package, your footage will be edited and sent to you later that day. The footage for my wife for some reason came the next day though. But our "beautiful strangers" we were attached to were super cool.
You can't take any of your own devices or cameras due to liability and security reasons.
Very professional from start to finish. My wife and I were first timers and they made us comfortable and eased our nerves. The jump was exhilarating and totally worth it. The views are what you would hope for when skydiving.
